For research purposes, here’s a health- and regulation-focused overview of the Alibarbar INGOT 9000 Grape Ice. I won’t provide places to buy it or identify markets where it sells well.
Alibarbar INGOT 9000 Grape Ice
The manufacturer identifies the INGOT 9000 as a nicotine-containing disposable vape
Potential advantages
- The main attraction of a Grape Ice version is its flavour profile, rather than a health benefit.
- For an adult who already smokes cigarettes, completely replacing smoked tobacco with vaping may reduce exposure to some toxic chemicals compared with continuing to smoke. However, vaping is not risk-free, and the CDC does not consider e-cigarettes safe tobacco products.
- It should not be considered beneficial for someone who doesn’t already use nicotine.
Possible side effects
Depending on nicotine concentration, individual sensitivity and the ingredients in the particular product, vaping can cause:
- coughing or throat irritation
- dry mouth
- headache
- dizziness
- nausea
- increased heart rate or feeling jittery
- shortness of breath or chest discomfort
- nicotine cravings and dependence
Vape aerosol can contain nicotine, fine particles, flavoring chemicals and potentially harmful substances. The long-term health consequences of vaping are still being investigated.
What to do if someone experiences problems
For relatively mild symptoms such as dizziness, nausea or throat irritation, stop vaping and get away from the aerosol/fresh-air environment. If symptoms continue or are concerning, seek medical advice.
If someone develops serious breathing difficulty, severe chest pain, confusion, fainting, or seizures, they should receive urgent medical attention.
For nicotine dependence, the most effective long-term approach is to stop nicotine use and seek support from a healthcare professional. Nicotine withdrawal can temporarily cause irritability, difficulty concentrating, sleep problems, dizziness and cravings, but these symptoms generally improve with time.
Where is it legal?
There isn’t one worldwide answer because vape regulations differ by country and can change. Importantly, a product being sold somewhere doesn’t necessarily mean that its sale is legal there.
For example, Australia’s current rules are particularly restrictive: vapes can only be supplied through participating pharmacies for therapeutic purposes, and disposable vapes cannot be purchased through pharmacies. Flavours for therapeutic vapes are restricted to mint, menthol and tobacco, so a Grape Ice disposable such as this would not fit those permitted therapeutic-vape requirements.
